Brief Description: Brackets for ELT/Strobe Power Supply
Before I put the top aft fuselage skin on I wanted to do as much work as possible for obvious reasons of superior access. One of the things I saw on another builder's airplane was these clean brackets that allow a multite of things to be mounted back in the tail cone area between F809 and F808 bulkheads. I used 4 pieces of angle aluminum cut 7" long (it is 3/4 x 3/4 angle) and layed out holes (4) for flush riveting onto the mid and lower longerons and then drilled 3 holes for nutplates that will attach the mounting plate for whatever will go there. The current plan is to use one side for the ELT and the other for the strobe power supply.
