Started on the vertical stabilizer attach this morning. First I trimmed off 9/16 from the bottom of the front spar of the vertical stab (not sure why it was made long in the first place). I used a dremmel and then filed and smoothed with the 3M wheel. Next I marked out the locator hole that goes in the center of the VS rear spar. Drilled the hole after I was satisfied (read, measured, layed out, re-measured, and double-triple checked!). Then I set the VS up on the fuselage and cleco'd the rear hole I just drilled and clamped the front per the plans. Looks cool!
