Wow, I'm finally done with the floorboards - at least for now (25hrs in all including my mod). There are not installed at this point as there is much work to do below the floorboads. I am also going to do some mods in the baggage compartment - both access to the battery box and hinge the back of the hat shelf to and create additional baggage space beyond that for long things. There will be simple mods so I'll probably do those when I can't do anything else. Today I backriveted the footwells together and then back riveted the footwell assemblies to the forward floorboard. I then realized I skipped putting the rear seat hing onto the aft floorboards so I drove those rivets and everything turned out good. I had one small dinge on one of the footwells where it slipped off the backriveting plate but it's not a structural concern and not noticable at all.
Was wondering how to do these rivets and my buddy Greg said to do it this way - worked like a charm!
