The plans at this point call for relieving the longeron in the aft fuselages area for both the horizontal stabilizer attache bars and then trim around aft most bulkhead at the very end of the longeron.
The notches for the stab worked out great. The trimming at the end got alittle goofed up on the left longeron but it worked out in the end.
For the horizonatal stab notch I used a 5/16" drill bit to make the closed end.
Then I used the dremel with cutoff wheel to open it up .
Used a bandsaw then filed the end of the spar. Here's one that is finished. (notch and trimmed end)
