Brief Description:  Drilling the fuselage #12 (final) and disassembly

Big day today. The fuselage was looking good when I started and by day's end it was completely apart and looking like 2 months prior.
-Made shims for the tail wheel mount per the plans. I cut them out of fuel tank inspection covers that I didn't use (thick stuff).
-Clamped the tail wheel mount (WD409) to the F811 bulkhead and match drilled it using the holes in F811 as a guide.
-Made a template of the cutout required for F828 aft bottom skin to accomodate the WD409 tail wheel mount. Used tracing paper and it worked pretty good. Rough cut with the bandsaw and then used the demel with my favorite metal removing tip and then filed and sanded with emery. Fit good!
-Final drilled a 3/4" hole in the bottom of the F828 aft bottom skin (not sure what it's for). I used the Unibit that came in the Avery kit.
-Re attached the F828 and fitment was good.
-I then located and drilled the two cable exit fairing for the rudder cables. I picked them up from Avery at OSH.
Now it was time to take everything apart!
-Uncleco'd the aft top skin
-Uncleco'd the control stops and aft deck
-Uncleco'd (and in my case unbolted) the WD809 seat back support and spacers and cockpit rails.. Looks like all the clamping paid off as my holes where pretty much dead on and no edge distance issues.
-Uncleco'd Seat back support plates
Mitch and I lifted the fuselage from the sawhorses and put it back onto the bench. Don't forget to make sure you don't have any cleco'd in the bottom under the center section when you do this - I almost forgot.
-Uncleco'd the upper longerons
-Disassembled the entire tailcone
-Removed the mid-side skins
-Separated the seat rib assembly from the center section assembly.

Rough cutting the relief with the band saw - check out the dorky headlight! Works great though.
