Been dreading this step as I leave behind all my sheet metal experience for the last 1.5 yrs and take up metal sculpture on my longerons. Lots of twistin', pulling and hammering but so far so go. I managed to get the Left lower one done and started on the right side. Used a relatively inexpensive Craftsman digit level (must have IMHO for this).
I put the longeron in the vise, zero'd the level and started twisting until i got 7.25ish.
Took a fare bit of hammering with the deadblow hammer to get this to open up.
The level does go to half tenths so 6.8 will have to do for 6.75 degrees on the aft end of longeron.
