-Retaped the fuse to fairing seam with 4 layers of tape. -Cleaned the area -Painted on pure resin onto the fairing and overlapping onto the tap -Mixed up a wet batch of micro and put it on the entire fairing - this will be fun to sand off!!
After the micro set up (about 5 yrs) I sanded it down - much easier than when it totally cures out! I can easily see the low spots so I'll spot fill those tomorrow.
Kind of like icing a cake
Added peel ply to keep it from sagging - saw another builder do this we'll see if it works
