More sanding. I have finally gotten all the way around the fairing and I'm almost through the top layer of tape - in some places I am all the way through. The next step is to got on through the tape and peel away any residual tape and lay down another layer so I can use that to sand the slurry of micro that I plan to use to smooth everything out. I also need to trim the aft edge of the fairing where it overlaps the canopy-that'll be messy....
Getting there but messy
I believe this tape technique is going to work pretty good. Hopefully we'll see soon.
