Brief Description: Dreaming about instrument panels

UPDATE 01/15/10: The paper copies of what I plan to put in the panel as of Jan '10 in picture 1. This is my 'VFR +' panel. Previous entry: I was relegated to staying inside today and watching the kids so I went to one of my favorite websites, epanelbuilder.com and did some dreaming! It doesn't take long to spend 30K+ just to fill up a 8 panel for glass IFR work. Hopefully by the time I am really serious about the panel the technology will be alittle cheaper. I tried the build the panel around the glass and give myself some backup in IFR with the pictorial pilot and some analog stuff. I'll have to do much more research in this area before I settle on anything, but it's fun to brainstorm on a cold rainy Ohio day.

AFS 3500, Dyon D-160, Garmin 300XL GPS/COMM, Garmin 696, KT-76A xponder - simple

The AFS setup without the GRT HSI is still nice!

I like the Dynon units too, especially the price!
