Brief Description:  Aileron pushrods (bellcank-to-aileron riveting)

After yesterday's perfect session being ruined at the end by those errant rivets in the short chromoly pushrod (we'll call it the left one, but they aren't specific to the left or right wing) I was needing victory this morning. Last night I researched this issue and found that many folks have issues with those rivets and a common solution was to move down to the shorter -11 rivets since the -12s are a little long for the application (also clamping the work in a vise helps). I drilled out the 2 rivets that were really mangled and put in the -11s and it worked like a charm, they look great. I was so happy I drilled out the other 2 rivets in that pushrod that were borderline and replaced them with the 11s too. I managed to bloody a knuckle on the vise getting the last rivet out - I guess I should file workmens' comp on myself : )
