Brief Description:  Aileron installation

After installing the flap braces this morning, I can't install the flaps until I install the ailerons. I took some time to study the plans and located the hardware required. I made the appropriate spacers for the inboard hinge and temporarily mounted both right and left ailerons. I then moved to the pushrod tubes, both the one from the cockpit and the one that comes from the bell crank on the the spar down to the aileron itself. I laid out the dimensions and cut them to size and trimmed and deburred as neccessary. I will try to prime them today sometime if the schedule and weather cooperate (supposed to snow today). I could have skipped the pushrods for now, but I need to research the flap mounting operation before I dive in. I may also jump onto the pitot tube install. I will be jumping around alittle as I start to try and finish up the wings. I will leave the fiberglass tips until later (likely when I am doing glass for the canopy or cowling).

Things to do off the top of my head:
1) Mount Flaps
2) Mount and plump Pitot
3) Run wire
4) Remove tanks and put some rivets I forgot that are in the spar flange to stabilize the rivets (not sure how I missed those, but that the nice thing about match drilled kits - there should be no open rivet holes or you aren't done! :)

Here's the raw materials you build them from. The small one is steel and it's actually powder coated.
