I got up and went out to the shop shoot the rib rivets for the flaps when I got this sinking feeling..........oh crap I didn't rivet the ribs to the rear spar (bottom skin) and the clecos are still on and it's now closed up behind the top skin where it folds around and joins the bottom skin. Great!!! I drilled out the 43 rivets as my punishment for my sins. I then took the top skin off, riveted the trailing edge of the ribs with their appropriate spacers and then I riveted the 706A bracket to the spar and cleco'd everthing back together and then removed the spar to gain access for riveting per the plans. I re-riveted the 43 rivets to get me back to basically where I was before I woke up this morning and disovered my mistake. Some days it doesn't pay to get out of bed......
