Since the tanks are done, I rearranged the work area a little this morning so I could work on prepping the wings for installation of the top skins. I'm actually prepping everything, but I'll only install the top skins intitially per the plans. I worked on the right top outboard skin (keep up with that?). I uncleco'd it from the wing and then removed the plastic on the back side and on the top along the rivet lines with the soldering iron. I then deburred all of the holes (top/bottom) and deburred the edges. Back to boring stuff, but progress is being made.
Removing the plastic from the bottom of the skin (this will get primed later).
Removing the plastic on the top surface along the rivet line carefully with a soldering iron.
