Lots of random items on the fuel tanks today. Fabricated the clips (L/R) that hold the fuel vent line at the gas cap (see photo 1). Drilled the rivet holes for the fuel tank drains (L/R). Used the supplied boss as the template for the skins holes and put a bolt in the hole to center the drain over the pre-punched factory drain hole. Machine counter-sunk all the fuel cap flange rivet holes to accept the dimpled skin (skin goes on top of the flange that is inside the tank). Then I used a soldering iron to remove the plastic along the rivet lines on the LH tank in preparation for deburring and dimpling.
