Mitchel and I snuck out to the very cold garage (13F) for a short session. He helped me scuff all the rear spar parts and then I "kicked him out" for chemical session of cleaning and priming the parts.Went well inspite of the temperature. The good news is that tomorrow we get to rivet! It's amazing that in building a metal airplane like this requires approximately 15,000 rivets and that is the easy part compared to the mundane practice of "assemble, drill, disassemble, deburr, scuff, clean, & prime." Then and only then, do you get to rivet and thereby permenately attach those beloved parts that hopefully will one day ressemble an airplane!
