I picked up my wings from the shipper today. $321.00 from Oregon to Ohio. I saved $70.00 picking them up myself. I have been off the kit for what seems like forever, so I'm glad to have something to work on. I thought Van's would call before shipping, so I planned to add my replacement trim tab parts to the wing order, but the next thing I knew the wings were at the freight dock ready for pickup. I plan to order the trim tab parts in the next couple of weeks and shelve them while I start on the wings. When I get to a stopping spot or get stuck, I'll shift back over to the elevator trim to finish out the empennage.
