Lots of progress today. Riveted the bottom of the trim tab to it's spar. I located the trim tab on the elevator and matchdrilled it per the plan. I then reassembled and checked everything. Then I trimmed the end of the hinge on the elevator side. Once that was done, I uncleco'd everything, deburred the elevator side of the hinge and primed the same. Next is to rivet everything together and call it done. It was 25F out there and I can only work about an hr without heat. I need to go by a heater. Last weekend I went looking for one like Mike's (forced air propane 55,000BTU), but no one has one in stock and I have been too stubborn to order one from Amazon (where Mike got his). I'll keep looking.
Riveting the trim tab bottom skin to the spar. It turned out nice.
Match drilling the elevator skin and the trim tab hinge.
