Brief Description:  Wire routing #12 (boost pump and coax)

This morning I finished up wiring the boost pump
-routed the hot wire through the left gear tower and connected it to the pump wire via wrist connectors and covered with heat shrink.
-attached the ground wire to the gear tower

After talking to my buddy Greg, he suggested that not having grommets on those holes with the hot wire might be a bad idea even with my extra layers (4) of heat shrink tubing. I decided to see what I could do about it and I ended up getting my 90 degree drill adapter into the gear tower to open up the holes to accept a grommet. I then made a new hot wire from the switch to the pump and it came out much nicer - thanks Greg!

I then tried my hand at crimping BNC connectors onto the ends of the RG400. I watched the video on EAA.org and it was much easier than I thought. The hardest part is stripping the wires. I crimped the antenna ends for the comm and transponder antenna and ran the coax under the floor boards, through the spar, up the right gear tower and ultimately terminated them behind the panel.
