Milestone day. I managed to get the canopy skirt and canopy attached, for good.
-Started by block-sanding the upper lip of the skirt to get some of the waviness out and make it straigher. -Machine c/s the canopy rivet holes that don't coincide with the skirt for flush rivets -Syd came out and helped me put the canopy on the frame and skirt - thanks Syd! -Finally got my nerve up and pulled the 146 rivets and each time the rivet mandrel turned loose my heart would stop!
Glad to have that behind me, no cracks!

The canopy is done, but now I'm squeezing the skirt-to-frame rivets
Done. Lots of finish work on the skirt but it's all cosmetic from here on.
