More drilling - there are hundreds of holes to drill and I have dulled a fare number of drill bit, but every hour is one hour closer and after going to OSH in a car for the second time in a row, I'm ready to have this thing done!
-Match drilled #40 the mid side skins and the upper longerons (L/R) -Final drilled #30 the rest of the 1/8" holes in the mid side skins (L/R) -Final drilled #40 the rivet holes in the aft end of the mid cabin skins where they join the tail cone -Final drilled #40 the bottom of the tailcone (both F842 and F828 -Started drilling the #40 holes in the aft side skins where the upper longerons attach. Got about half way through the right longeron - lots of holes!!
Good progress. I can't believe I'll have to take all this apart and deburred and dimple/countersink all of these holes!! Should keep me busy the rest of the year.
