Well I lost 3 days as I went out flying for my day job, but this morning I got out of bed and got back into the flaps. LEFT FLAP: I match drilled the angle 406A and 406B to the skeleton per the plans. I went back and forth on the best way to do this and consequently lost some time, but it turned out fine. I then created the shims for the ribs (optional per the plans) so they fit tighter agains the bottom skin where it comes up and acts as a psuedo rear spar. I also laid out the hole locations for the right flap 406A and cuts shims for the right flaps so that will speed things up when I start on that one.
Match drilling the 406B to the end rib and my fabricated 406A (angle)
Finishing up the match drilling using the spar as a template for the 406A
A roughly cut out shim installed between the end of one of the ribs and the bottom skin.
