Since I am waiting on my flaring tool to come in from Aircraft Spruce, I switch gears and moved to installing the flush mount 100W halagen landing lights in each wing leading edge. The landing light is built into the leading edge in the outboard bay of each wing. I used the wildly popular, in RV circles, Duckworks kit. It seems pretty straight forward, but will reguire several hours to complete. Today I cut out the templates that tape onto the wing so you can cut out the area where the lens will reside. I then carefully laid out the template location on the left leading edge and marked the area that gets cut.
