Brief Description: Prepping for fuel tank riveting - ribs
In anticipation of by buddy Mike Cencula coming over to help rivet tomorrow night I snuck back out to the garage after diner. I scuffed the rib flanges where the sealant would be placed and Sydney came out and helped me cleco the ribs into the skins per the plans. The plans have you cleco the ribs in and rivet them one at a time. I left out the outboard and inboard ribs as I am not ready to put those in - plumbing, wiring, etc. In the morning I have to get up and try to get the fuel cap flanges riveted in place, not super critical if I don't but it would be nice.
Scuffing the rib flanges on the wire wheel works great but its like dancing with a buzz saw.
