This morning I started putting together the left wing skeleton. This involves cleco'ing the spar, main ribs (center), and the rear spar together and match drilling all the rivet holes. Very exciting part of the project as the wing looks like something! Finished match drilling all the left wing holes. Next step is to take it apart and repeat the precess for the right wing. Then I will debur the drilled holes and prime all the main ribs. I marked all the ribs with a Sharpy so I can make sure they don't get mixed up and can be returned to their rightful location. My work sessions are usually 1hr to 1 1/2 hrs and I'm not accustomed to seeing this kind of progress - very motivating! Especially with snow on the ground outside for weeks. It has been one of the coldest winters on record in central ohio!

The left wing LIVES! I will be much larger, it is minus the leading edge, control surfaces, and tip.
