Up at 5:30am.First attempts at bucking rivets with the rivet gun and bucking bar this morning. Mixed results, but not too bad. Had one rivet "fall over" and had to drill it out. In the process of drilling it out, the hole got elongated badly. Called my buddy Rick Blaes and he came over at lunch time and looked everything over, he tweaked some of the rivets and blessed me to press-on and everything looks ok to him. Lots of learning curve, but so far not ruined parts. I actually could have squeezed all of these rivets versus bucking - duh! I will finish this off in the morning. Frustrating, but in a good way I guess - I'm learning!
