Out of town for work supporting Super Bowl flight ops in Dallas so I lost some building time.
-Started cutting out the cover for the smoke oil access. Not sure if I'll use the one I cut or do another one - we'll see. -Cut out the doubler. Used the fly cutter on the drill press so there was a little learning curve and some waster material, but I believe the doubler is good. -Located the holes in the fuselage for the doubler rivets -Clamped the doubler in place in preparation for match-drilling.
The fly cutter, aka man-killer, does a nice job, but one must use caution!
