-Sanded the cowling with 60grit - I didn't have any 80. The resin was alittle gummy yet so I didn't get after it to much. -Moved over the the wing tip and finished drilling the right tip -Trimmed the area on the trailing edge along side the aileron to clear the aileron and hinge -Located the rib that goes in the trailing edge inboard side of the wing tips -Drilled the left wing tip rib -Layed out the edge lines and started drilling the tip rib on the right tip. Next step is to finish the right tip end rib and fabricate a couple of bulkheads to put inside the rib so it doesn't flex or may some stiffners - haven't decided yet. You might notice I am holding off on trailing edge tip to aileron ailignment until the airplane has the wings on and the control surfaces rigged. Then I'll slice and dice however necessary.
Blocking out the upper cowl.
Left tip drilled to the wing
The blue end rib is visible -I'm drilling it to the tip.
