-This is one of those categories that will likely have a hundred entries. I spent alot of the time just trying to figure out how to start knowing I needed to proceed carefully. Fiberglass is forgiving, but I wanted to avoid the Oh crap moments. -Cut out the oil door opening -Fitted the upper and lower together and contemplated my next move. -Trimmed the lower cowl around the intakes -Trial fitted the upper on the airplane -Added the lower to the airplane -Noted the upper needs some trimming as the opening isn't round and droops down below the spinner excessively. -Refit back on the airplane - better fit -Clamped the halves together off the airplane in preparation for drilling the 3 screw holes in the inboard wall (behind the spinner) of the intakes.
