Fabricated and fitted the LH landing light lens as follows:
1. Using a heat gun, bent a strip of 1/16" lexan sheet to approximate the wing leading edge bend. Held lexan in place until cool.
2. Fitted lexan in wing tip behind landing light opening. Drilled through existing wing tip rivet holes and lexan at #30, adding cleco's as each hole was drilled.
3. Drilled along the top flange and top outer edge of the lexan to #30, the repeated on the bottom of the wing tip.
The lexan holes will be enlarged after disassembly. And the protective covering on the lexan will remain until final fitting.
