Brief Description: LH wing final assembly - upper aft skin
Prepared upper aft skin for LH wing for final installation as follows:
1. Deburred, buffed, prepped, and cleaned skin and associated aluminum parts. Primed with self-etching primer.
2. Installed connectors on wiring at wing root for nav/strobe light, landing light, fuel sender, and remote compass. Tested connections - all good. Made entries into wire list spread sheet.
3. Installed fuel neck scupper in accordance with Rans instructions.
4. Installed fuel sender access ring with AAPQ-41 rivets. Temporarily installed access cover with 6-32 stainless hardware.
5. Riveted skin stiffeners in place with AVEX rivets.
6. Sealed scupper to fuel tank using Dow Corning 730 sealant.
7. Installed skin on wing frame using 1/8" cleco's.
