1. Rolled skin leading edge per Rans manuals using PVC pipe. On the first attempt, I used tape only to attach the skin to the PVC pipe, but the result wasn't satisfactory. On the second attempt, the PVC pipe was drilled to match the skin and the skin attached with clecos as well as masking tape. With some help and lots of coaxing, a decent roll was formed in the skin.
2. Marked centerlines on all ribs and the top edge of the spar. Attached the skin to the frame using clecos on the bottom spar.
3. Positioned and aligned the flap assembly on 4" PVC posts and weighted with sand bags.
4. Drilled all bottom rib holess to #40, then flipped the assembly over. Drilled top of spar and top rib holes to #40.
5. Drilled leading edge ribs to #40. Some hand forming was needed to adjust the curvature of the skin.
