Used the cork strips provided to cover the tank hole, also put some on the top of tank. I riveted a patch over the hole for the fuel tank vent. I'm going a different direction on the tank vents because reports are they all leak when the tanks are full. I cut the vent stub off flush and tapped it for a 5/16-18 thread (more to come on this). I also trimmed the hole in the top skin that goes under the fuel cap. You need to cut about 1/4" of this hole away in oder to get the fuel cap to sit flush.
