Brief Description: Closing up the Left Aux Tank
|

Today, Aneta and I closed up the Left Auxillary tank baffle. The first step was to spread Proseal over all the rib flanges and along the area where the baffle rivets to the skin. Then, when the baffle is dropped into place, a bead of Proseal is pushed along ahead of it, sealing up the tank for good. Aneta helped me quickly cleco everything into place, then I followed along and riveted it all together. Hopefully it won't leak. Only time, and a test of the tank integrity, will tell. Before that, however, the Proseal will be given adequate time to cure.
