More riveting today, with brief interuptions to find out the score of the Patriots / Ravens game. It's nearing Super Bowl time now, but I am motivated to keep pounding rivets. Back-riveting the ribs to the elevator skins was easy but takes a while because there are so many rivets per rib, a lot of rib halves, and four skins in total. After the ribs are on the skin, then it's time to rivet the rear spar to the ribs and then onto the skin as well. All in all today, I'd say I back-riveted about 300 rivets, squeezed about 50 rivets, bucked about 30 rivets and drilled out about 6. Not bad for a day's work.
