Brief Description:  Riveting the Rudder Spar to the Skin

So after Ladi left for home (weather was getting snowy), my friend Barry came over to finally try his hand on the actual airplane. He had been exposed to the tools previously, but hasn't done any actual riveting into the plane. Selma, who has helped on several occasions, is Barry's wife. To date, she has driven more rivets into the plane than he has. So Barry just couldn't let that record stand! ;) After some more training, he was ready to drive some rivets into the rudder. He started with the pneumatic pop riveter, moved on to bucking rivets single-handed, then finished using the pneumatic squeezer. Great job, Barry! All in all, it was a great day of training and making progress. I only had to drill out one poorly-driven rivet, and it was one that I did myself! :-o
