Time to fit the top skins. This should be simple enough, right? Simply start in the middle and cleco my way down the sides. Well, not so fast.... Turns out to be way harder than you would think. Almost as bad as installing the ribs into the fuel tank skin. Lots of prying and using an "awl" to line up holes. Added some "fluting" to the main ribs also helped.
Then once you went to all the trouble to get the rear skin cleco'd in place.... You have to remove the cleco's where the front skin overlaps the rear skin. And put it back together with BOTH skins attached to the F707 bulkhead.
