Brief Description: Fitting the Bottom Cowl and Oil Cooler
Placed the Cowl Bottom to check the fit of the Oil Cooler. The Oil Cooler tends to rise on the right side due to the pull of the VA-214 hose and it takes effort and pressure to push it downward and secure with a bolt. After multiple tries decided to secure the VA-213 and VA-215 hoses with a zip tie. Applied red RTV sealant to areas where the hoses contact with other parts. Met a guy with an RV-12 SLSA who just moved his plane to a hangar near mine and he showed me his plane. It is very nice. He also looked at my project.
