Brief Description:  Work on cooling system, throttle and choke cables

Removed the Top and Bottom Cowls from the fuselage. Turned the Cowl Bottom upsided down and aplied flox epoxy mixture to the gaps between the cowl and Cooling Duct. Removed most of the clecoes holding the cowl and Cooling Duct together and covered the holes with flox epoxy. Sanded a few areas at the aft of the Cowl Bottom to have more clearance for painting later.

Proceeded to Section 50 while waiting for the epoxy on the cowl to cure. Enlarged the hole for the throttle cable in the center panel to3/4 inch. This is because I'm installing the Vernier Throttle Cable. Ground a flat area on the lock washer for the throttle cable so it will seat flush to the back of the Center Panel. Routed the Throttle Cable into the panel and then thru the firewall. Did the same for the Choke Cable. Made cable spacers from left-over rubber hose. Secured the Throttle and Choke Cables to the bottom of the Panel Base with cushion clamps and the cable spacers. It was a chore to install the cushion clamps because of their location.
