Back to homebuilding and it feels good! I changed jobs again and I'm back in Columbia, SC, from Beckley, WV. I moved in late February but had to wait a few weeks for my household goods to arrive. Weather and issues with the moving company were the cause of the delay. Fortunately, I left the plane in SC and I did not have to move it.
Continued work on the cooling system. Did more slotting of the holes on the radiator for better clearance between it and the cooler box ribs. Connected the FF-1208B aand FF-1208A Hoses to the radiator and the other end of the upper hose (FF-1208B) to the Expansion Tank.
Trimmed the Cowl Duct Interface and sanded to the scribe lines except for 1 edge, per the plans. Positioned the Cooling Duct on the Cowl Bottom and drilled #40 holes through the cowl and into the flanges of the Cooling Duct. Trimmed the top aft part of the cooling duct to get the precribed clearance of 5/16 of an inch.
