Brief Description:  Installed Cowl Oil Door and new throttle springs

SB 14-12-16: Received Replacement Throttle Safety Springs from McFarlane Aviation with P/N 6822 and replaced the P/N 6818 Springs that I had installed before in place of the original Rotax springs. This change completes/complies with SB 14-12-16 (and McFarlane Aviation SB-6, Rev A).

38-08 to -09: Continuing with work on the Cowling and Cowl 12 Oil Door. Temporarily attached the HW 212-12 Camlock Receptacles and match-drilled the rivet attach holes. Countersunk the holes in the Top Cowl and riveted the receptacles. Match-drilled holes in the Top Cowl through the VA-263 Lugs. Countersunk the holes and riveted the lugs to the Cowl. Installed the Cowl Oil Door but had trouble opening the door due to interference at the inboard edge between the door and the cowl. Sanded/filed the edge of the door and part of the cowl and the door opens easier but I created a tiny gap between the door and the cowl. Secured the Oil Door Assembly with cotter pins.

49-11: Riveted the 2 holes in the FF-1212 Oil Cooler Frame and F-1214 Oil Cooler Faceplate that I missed in a previous step.

49-12: Riveted the outboard nutplate rivet attach holes on the Oil Cooler Box Assembly using a wider rivet set that I ordered from Avery Tools.

Other: Replaced the reset switch on my air compressor and it is working again. This is second time I had to replace the switch.
