Brief Description:  FWF wiring and plumbing

Inserted the wires (and pins) in the ES AMP 1-480319-0 Female Connector after making sure of their correct positions. Will connect the male and female connectors later after I replace the right lower engine mount male isolator. Inserted the WH-K766 pin into the A2 and B2 connectors and attached to their corresponding connector housings. Placed the housings onto the metal bracket. Crimped spade terminals on the WH-E764 Oil pressure wire and WH-P765 Oil Pressure Power Wire. Crimped ES 640903-2 Connectors to the WH-E753 CHT 1, WH-E749 CHT 2 and WH-E754 Oil Temperature Wires, and attached to their corresponding terminal posts. Placed tie wraps at the recommended locations.

After spending some time looking for the 265-252 Female Connector Housing, I found it in a box which I thought was empty. Inserted the WH-E758 and WH-E757 Wires/pins into the housing. Will connect to the other housing later. Remove the 965-335 Rectifier Regulator Connector and inserted the two connectors from the regulator cable. Reinserted the connector housing into the Rectifier Regulator. Fabricated the FF-1222 Manifold Pressure Hose and connected one end to the Compensating Tube Assembly (after removing the plug) and connected the other end to the Manifold Pressure Sensor.

Cut a rubber hose to make the FF-01224 Interconnect Hose and FF-01225 Drain Hose. Fabricated the FF-01223 Drain Tube from a ¼ aluminum tube which involved making multiple curves and flaring the ends, and then trimming the flaring to allow insertion into the rubber hoses. Secured the rubber hoses with hose clamps and the drain tube with cushioned clamps. It was not easy to install the cushioned clamps because of the limited space to work with under the engine. Used safety wire and tie wraps to approximated the tongues of the clamps so I can connect the nuts to the screws. Will put the zip ties on their “permanent” positions later.
