Brief Description:  Firewall forward wiring

Modified a grommet for the fuel pressure sensor. Deburred the F-00036 Fuel Pressure Sensor Bracket and, together with the F-1201S Battery Channel, primed and then painted them with a high temperature enamel. Routed the wire harnesses through the cushioned clamp attached to the WD-1221 Engine Mount Standoff.

Inserted the spade connectors from the WH-00062 Power Wiring Harness and WH-P761 (yellow wire from the FWF Wiring Harness) into the 965-335 Connector Housing and installed the Housing to the 965-347 Rectifier Regulator. Stripped the ends of the WH-RV 12-EGT Wiring Harness and crimped ES 421-0107 Spade Connectors. Removed the spade connectors from the 100405-001 EGT Sensors and replaced them with ES 421-0108 connectors. Inserted the Manifold Pressure Wires (A,B & C, WH-E750, WH-751 and WH-E752) into the Weatherpak Connector and installed it into the 100434-000 Manifold Pressure Sender.

Connected the ES Diode Master and connected it to the studs of the ES 24115 Master Relay. Also connected the WH-P150 Battery Power Wire to the Master Relay. Crimped a ring terminal to the WH-P759 Master Relay Wire and installed to the front stud of the Master Relay. Connected the WH-P154 Cable to the Master Relay and 992-819 Starter Relay. Crimped a ring terminal to the WH-P157 Battery Power Wire and connected it to the Starter Relay. Inserted insulated boots around the wires per the plans.

Section 10-08. Went back to this section to replace the left and right static ports. I had trouble removing the stems when I did this step a long time ago and may have deformed the shop heads when I used a plier to extract the stems. I wanted to be sure the static port connections are "perfect" before I connect the Tailcone to the Fuselage because it would be much harder to replace them once the 2 pieces are joined. I used a modified automatic center punch to remove the stems from the pop rivets and it worked very well. This technique was described in the VAF Forum.
