Brief Description: Purging of the Oil System, New Aux Music Jack
Rotax SI 912-018: Worked on priming the oil system again and I have not been successful in getting the oil to flow out of the VA-215 Oil Return Hose. Followed the instructions and repeated the process multiple times without success. I kept adding oil as the dipstick oil level fell. I don't know if the problem is because the end of the Oil Return Hose is not below the engine. I'll will try again later.
31B-07: Got the new WH-00056 Aux Music Jack and the hardware to convert and replace the old jack. My wiring has 2 white wires only and I don't have the GRN (S1) wire. I'll need to check the wiring schematic to see where the green wire leads to, and if I can add it. Tried fitting the jack in the original hole and it is much larger than the hole. I will have to enlarge the hole to do this installation.
PAP G2-1: Checked the brake line fitting that connects to the U-1203 Inboard Main Gear Attach Bracket for leak. I didn't see a drop of fluid but there was a wet film when I touched the fitting. I tightened the fitting some more. There is also a slight wetness of fluid where the AN823-4D fitting connects to the right brake assembly. Tightened the fitting a little bit. I can only turn the fitting so much because the brake line will contact the brake disc. Hope there are no more leaks. I don't want to purge the brake lines again.
Added more coolant to the Expansion Tank to get the fluid level to the neck of the tank. I got Rotella ELC pre-mixed radiator fluid from Wal-Mart.
