Brief Description: Installed cooling shroud and drip trays
Tightened the bolts connecting the Engine Mount Ring to the engine to 30 ft-lbs of torque. Re-installed the 4 lower coolant hoses. Applied High Temp RTV sealant on the top of the engine where the cooling shroud will “touch” the engine and installed the shroud. Placed marks on the shroud where the hose clamps and the hoses of the upper Hose/Expansion Tank Assembly will touch it. Applied RTV at these areas and installed the assembly. Applied high temp sealant on the exposed rubber hose in the VA-216 Fuel Return Assembly. Repositioned the forward ignition module bracket and torqued to 215 in-lbs (or 17.9 ft-lbs). Reinstalled the intake manifolds and spark plug ignition leads. Disconnected the carburetors and installed the drip pans between the intake manifolds and carburetor flange assemblies. Applied fuel tank sealant on the pans and Boelube on the bottom of the carburetors per the plans. Reinstalled the carburetors and damping springs. Disassembled and reassembled the Clamp Block per the plans.
