Brief Description: Painted gear legs, installed covers and fairings
Rotax Maintenance Manual: Retorqued the cylinder head cover plate hex screws to 90 in-lbs per the Rotax Manual.
51A-05: Removed the Data Plate and replaced with a new one with a DATE OF MFG of 2016. The old one had July 2016. I miscalculated when I was going to finish the aircraft and have it inspected.
I investigated the noise in the Tailcone when the stick is pulled full aft. It turned out not to be the counterweight touching the aft Frame in the Tailcone. The noise was coming from the connection of the H-Stabilator to the Tailcone on the right side. A couple of drops of Boelube at the connection took care of the noise.
12-11: Installed the F-1249A and B Upper and Lower Tailcone Fairings. There is good clearance between the inboard Stabilator skins and the fairings at all Stabilator positions.
33-04: Installed the F-00102 (old designation F-1207F) Baggage Bulkhead Corrugation and placed all the screws in the F-1229 Baggage Floor Cover, F-00081 Baggage Floor and F-00083 Baggage Cover.
35-03: Primed and painted the Main Gear Legs. This was recommended in Rev 5 of the Section but not in the previous version.
35-06: Riveted the F-1275 Cover Plates to the Fuselage. Placed the HW-00003 Dome Plugs in the holes of he F-1276 Bottom Skin.
