Brief Description:  Add Wires to Radio, Checked landing gear bolts

PAP G1-1: Worked on the radio again. I added wires to Pins 30 and 33 (Co-Pilot Headset Lo and Pilot Headset Lo, respectively) to the GTR 200 backshell and connected the wires in a butt splice. Connected a wire to the other end of the butt splice and inserted the other end (pin) to position 26 of the Intercom backshell (Ground). Tested the radio after the wires were installed and there was no improvement with my audio problem. The above steps were recommended by Garmin.

Placed a boot on the postive battery terminal. Also placed a U-shape rubber gasket on the inboard and forward part of the F-1201S Battery Channel that is close to the positive battery terminal. I saw both in an RV-12 SLSA.

21-18: Applied torque seal to the bolts securing the Steps to the Fuselage after re-checking for proper torque.

35-04: Checked the torque of the landing gear bolts and tightened to 100 in-lbs per the Matco Manual. On the left landing gear I could not tighten two of the AN4-16A bolts that attach the U-1220 Main Gear Leg to the Axle and Brake Plate. The bolts just rotate without getting tight. I'm not sure what happened but I believe I applied the proper torque during assembly a long time ago. I may have to remove the wheel from the axle to check the nut. I hope I don't have to drain the brake fluid. I will have to jack the aircarft up to be able to remove the wheel.
