Brief Description: Systems Testing and put washers under screws
PAP G1-1: Removed the safety wire in the wings which I had placed before to be able to pull wires for future upgrades. I did not know if it was a cause of the short that occurs when the Nav or Strobe switch is turned on. I replaced the safety wire with 65 lb fishing line. With the wings disconnected from the fuselage and the safety wire removed I turned ON the Nav/Strobe switch and the fuse blew again. This suggests that the short is not coming from the wings and it is within the fuselage. Removed the Com radio, ADS-B and radio tray so I can remove the AV-50001 Power and Switch Module so I can test it. With a multimeter I tested the pins in the Power and Switch Module and did not detect a short.
Placed #8 nylon washers under the heads of the screw securing the aft canopy that I was not able to do last time.
