Brief Description: Put washers under canopy screws & Systems Testing
34-09: Removed several screws at the aft of the canopy and reinstalled with plastic washers under the heads. Some in the VAF.net forum say that this prevents over tightening of the screws and lessens the chance of cracking of the canopy. I did not have enough washers to do all the screws and I'll need to order some more.
PAP G1-1: Continued with testing systems. The Trim works but the anti-servo tab goes in the opposite direction from where it is supposed to go. It seems that this was an issue with the old instructions (pins reversed) and reported by other builders. The motor stops running after around 7 seconds. I'll trouble shoot this later. I also noticed that the Auto Pilot and Comn radio do not turn on. I think I have several issues to fix/address.
Pulled the wings from the Fuselage with the help of a buddy. I'll need to check the wiring in the wings and the connections to the fuselage.
