Brief Description: Re-installed brake line fittings
27-04, 35-05: Because of the leakage of brake fluid around some of the elbow fittings in the master cylinders, I decided to remove them and also the fittings that connect to the brake assemblies and the U-1203 Inboard main Gear Attach Brackets. Of course, I had to bleed the brake system again. Brushed off the old thread sealant form the fittings and installed them as tight as I could. Used Loctite 567 thread sealant on the brass fittings where they connect to the master cylinders and where the F-1289D Caliper Brake Lines connect inboard and at the brake assemblies. Used Permatex High Performance thread sealant at the other connections. This was also recommended in the VAF.net forum by other builders and I wanted to try it. I will wait at least a few days before putting brake fluid in the system. Hopefully, no more leaks.
