Brief Description: Work on Stab cables, shoulder harness, etc
34-14: Fabricated a wire tool from a clothes hanger to hold the ends of the stabilator cables while connecting the turnbuckles. Positioned the H-Stab per the plans and then connected the upper and lower stabilator cables with turnbuckles. The H-Stab moves properly with control stick movement. I'll finalize this step after I get hold of a cable tensiometer.
33-02: Installed the F-1227 Seat Ramp Cover and the F-1228 Seat Floor Cover. I had to unbolt the lap belts to position the Seat Floor Cover. There are many screws to place and I used a cordless drill and ratcheting screw driver so my hands don't get too sore.
33-03: Connected the Shoulder Harness Cables to the Shoulder Strap Lugs and the Shoulder harnesses to the cables. Installed the F-1217B Rudder Pedal Access Covers. It was hard to reach the bolts but with a lot of bending and use of tool extensions I was able to install them.
43-03: Riveted the F-12175B Angle and the F-12175A Tray to the bottom of the Panel Base on the right side. It was not easy trying to rivet with one hand and making usre the manufactured head is properly seated.
